Can a budgie eat a parrot/atiel beak block?

Well yesterday I wasn't paying attention and accidentally bought a beak/mineral block for parrots/atiels! :( I was actually supposed to by a budgie one. So I was just wondering if it makes a difference??? Cause the beak block for parrots doesn't seem hard for the budgies to bite. Also, I bought it from PJ's pet store, do you think they'll let me exchange for a budgie one? my budgie bit the block a little bit, and I already tied the strings to the cage.
