Will this computer build work?

the motherboard will support the processor RAM graphics/video but not the hard drive as the motherboard has sata 3 (sata 6gb) and the hard drive is sata 2 (3gb), the motherboard will fit nicely in the case as both are atx format the power supply will start the computer up but the only problem i see is there is not CD/DVD drive cables
